This website's goal is to promote free and open source software implementation, study and development in the Philippines. It aims to be a repository of F/OSS related activities within the country.
It will do this by maintaining a:
Members directory.
A FOSS club, org or association directory.
A jobs wanted message board.
A Content Aggregator, collecting information about local FOSS development and usage from various blogs, websites, mailing lists, etc.
Why?
Linux.org.ph's main goal is to publish Philippine - related F/OSS activity in the hope that this will foster its growth.
